That's why, in 2022, we launched the Forward project, an innovative retail concept that makes it possible for our customers to breathe new life into damaged or time-marked Golden Goose shoes and garments. The repair service allows Golden Lovers to continue the journey together with their favorite pieces, and is available both online and in our Forward Stores in Milan, New York, Dubai and Miami.
The services available range from resoling to insole replacement, from zip change to stitching. Everything is designed with circularity in mind: we want to contribute to the environmental challenges of our time, making Golden garments last for years, continuing to be enriched with history instead of being replaced.
The repair service is made possible by our Dream Makers, craftsmen specializing in tailoring and shoemaking. Each Dream Maker supports the customer through the refurb process, understanding their needs and recommending the most suitable service to give new life to their sneakers. Through this collaboration, we want every Golden Lover to feel valued, preserving the memories they collected step by step, every time they wore that pair of sneakers: from trips to new experiences, Golden Goose will accompany you on a lifetime journey.
In addition, we help reduce the impact of each purchase, giving the opportunity to give new life to garments that would otherwise be thrown away. But circularity does not end there: if the sneakers are not repairable, Golden Goose takes care of the recycling.
The repair service is part of the broader vision of our Forward Agenda, the plan through which we aim to make Golden Goose an increasingly sustainable company.
