OUR ARTISTIC HOUSE IN TERSANE
Contemporary art, Turkish and Venetian craftsmanship, the creation of unique bespoke garments. All this, and much more, featured at the event hosted by HAUS Istanbul as part of the official program of Contemporary Istanbul 2026, the leading contemporary art fair in Turkey.
It was a particularly special moment for us at Golden, as the first major event organized at the HAUS headquarters in Tersane, which opened just a few months ago: a space for meeting, creating and sharing for our global community. A place where art is not only observed, but above all, experienced.
A PERFORMANCE TO BE WORN, WITH ERTUĞRUL GÜNGÖR AND FARUK ERTEKIN
HAUS's creative spirit took the form of a special performance by Turkish artist duo Ertuğrul Güngör and Faruk Ertekin. For this new work, the two artists were inspired by the raw, tactile nature of leather, entrusting time and the human touch with the task of shaping its history. In a fascinating interactive performance, carved leather fragments were transformed into pieces of wearable art, allowing guests to create personalized, one-of-a-kind clothes, sneakers and accessories.
The work remained on display inside HAUS, as a tangible testament to this dream, brought to life by our community.

ARTS & CRAFTS: MOMENTS OF SHARED CREATIVITY
"In addition to taking part in the performance by Ertuğrul Güngör and Faruk Ertekin, and admiring a selection of contemporary art pieces integrated into the HAUS space, each visitor had the opportunity to create their own one-of-a-kind object by participating in the Arts & Crafts workshops – our program of creative and craft workshops, recently launched in Istanbul.
A precious opportunity, once again, for connection with others and self-expression, to discover the beauty of those ""perfect imperfections"" that make us unique and inimitable."
