AN ARSENAL OF IDEAS AND CREATIVITY IN THE HEART OF TERSANE
Golden Goose HAUS has arrived in a new city: from our Venice, it has now landed in Istanbul, marking a symbolic journey between two ports shaped by art and dreams. On April 23, a new home for our artistic and creative hub opened its doors in the cultural district of Tersane – a neighborhood that offers the perfect setting, surrounded by museums, theaters, fashion, and gastronomy.
HAUS Istanbul spans 1,200 square meters, in a space that evokes a constantly evolving shipyard: an arsenal of ideas where nothing is ever truly finished, and where process matters more than perfection.
THE STORE’S ARCHITECTURE: BETWEEN HERITAGE AND IMAGINATION
Inside, the beating heart of HAUS is an original 1940s shipyard, part of a valuable cultural heritage and a universal symbol of travel, transition and exchange. More than a simple installation, it stands at the center of the experience: visitors are invited to step aboard and discover the exclusive HAUS Capsule Collection within.
The idea of travel extends throughout the entire store: the use of weathered wood, shaped by time and water, recalls the authentic scaffolding and docks used in shipbuilding, while large, theatrical drapes evoke the movement of the sea.
OUR CULTURAL VISION: ART AS EXCHANGE AND EXPERIMENTATION
The cultural identity of HAUS Istanbul is further defined by a selection of contemporary artworks curated by Begüm Güney, in a continuous and fluid dialogue with the space.
One of our goals is to take art beyond gallery walls, creating a place where craftsmanship, culture and community come together. Throughout the year, additional local artists will be invited to present their work and vision at HAUS.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in artistic and craft experiences through a wide range of workshops, related to local culture.
BEHIND THE SCENES OF CREATION: CO-CREATION, REPAIR HUB AND BESPOKE
HAUS is a space designed to inspire, encouraging visitors to create and express themselves. Together with our Dream Makers, they can personalize their purchases through Co-Creation, discovering exclusive options inspired by the nautical world.
Our artisanal identity fully comes to life in the Repair Hub, where well-loved sneakers can be restored, and in the Bespoke area, which offers tailoring services to ensure every piece fits its wearer perfectly.
Conceived almost like a small theater, these areas reveal the behind-the-scenes processes of creation, from personalization to repair. Workstations are open and visible, making materials, tools and techniques an integral part of this unique environment.
